Description

Honda's Belgian star Georges Jobe arrived in Heelen, Holland as leader of the 500 cc World Championship and was in good shape. He hoped to deprive Britain's Dave Thorpe of his hat trick of titles. Also capable of mounting a good challenge was Kawasaki's Kurt Nicoll. The cameras search out the top angles as men and machines are hurtled through the air in two strength sapping races which only the very fittest survive. It's even tough watching as you really get the flavour of this top class meeting. Ljungvist, Persson, Rond, Vane der Ven, Martens, Guekens and many more are all supremely talented riders and bring their special skills right into this film.
